Watershed Restaurant @ Angel of the Wind Casino

Just had a wonderful Prime Rib and Seafood buffet at Watershed Restaurant at the Angel of the Wind Casino just off of I5 at exit 210. For $29.99 adults and $24.99 for anyone under 21 that's an awesome price plus we have a Totem Card and we also get additional 15% off our bill. My first plate was a Spinach salad with cold Crab and Dijon vinaigrette dressing, very nice dressing and the crab was pretty big in size.

The second plate I had was the medium rare Prime Rib with fresh horseradish that just went up my head because it was so spicy, with this I also had deep fried oysters, very crispy on the outside and very moist and sweet inside, very delicious. As well on this plate I had deep fried prawns which was a bit on the dried side and the batter was a bit thick and steamed clams , they were big in size and very tasty and surprisingly there wasn't any sand in them.

Now comes the third plate, more Prime Rib as it was so nice, tender and juicy, I had to go back for seconds, this time I had it with the Horseradish Sauce instead, not as spicy and it doesn't go up my head like the hot spicy horseradish. With this I had the Yorkshire pudding which was like a piece of dough and very chewy, definitely don't recommend it at all, also there was Salmon on my plate but it was quite overdone and dry, the taste was ok but I prefer my salmon moist in the inside but they never serve it that way at restaurants. Also, had to have some vegetables so I chose some steam broccoli and more deep fried oysters as they were too good to give up on.

Plate number four, this was a smaller plate so I can focus on the really good stuff that I really like so just more steam clams and deep fried oysters as these were just brought out from the kitchen so I couldn't say no to these when they are freshly cooked especially the oysters , they were so moist and juicy inside.

My very last plate had to end with my favourite which is the Dungeness Crab, my niece had the desserts and she claims they are very good and my brother said the fruit salad was very sweet, I don't have much of a sweet tooth so I prefer to have more crab to finish off my dinner. I was very full after this wonderful meal, I am sure I got my monies worth, so if your into Prime Rib and Seafood I definitely recommend this place, great price, great food, and if you sign up as a new Totem Card you get $5 cash back to play your favourite slot or table game and you also get a free mug and a pen as well. ***

Food & Entertainment

Sun Sui Wah Restaurant, Vancouver - I was taken to this restaurant by my friend May for my Birthday dinner and the two of us had the following dishes, poached live prawns, roasted squab, crab claw ball, peppery salt Dungeness crab, and scallops with vegetables. The food was very good, the live prawns were very fresh and it was very sweet tasting but it was on the expensive side. Crabs were good just a bit overcooked as the meat was stuck onto the shell but very tasty and good. The scallops were quite big in size and they do give quite a good portion with the vegetables. And of course roated squab was really good, this restaurant is famous for this item and I have to agree they make the best roasted squab. If you don't mind paying for the price this is a nice restaurant to dine in, service was good, they were constantly changing our plates, I was at a point were I want to tell them let me finish with my piece of crab before you change my plate, I think they change our plate more than 10 times during our dinner.
